Services
Marketing strategy, data and operations, led by one senior person. I set the direction, manage the projects and the technology behind them, and report results in numbers leadership can act on.
Fractional CMO
Typical engagementMonthly retainer, six-month start, one to two days a week
Executive marketing leadership without a full-time hire. I join your leadership meetings, set the strategy and budget, and run marketing as a managed program with clear owners, deadlines and numbers.
- Marketing strategy, annual plan, budget and channel mix
- KPIs and a monthly leadership report tied to leads, customers and revenue
- Project management for every initiative, from kickoff to launch
- Ownership of your marketing technology stack and vendor contracts
- Leadership of staff, agencies and freelancers, including hiring
- Alignment with sales, operations and business development
Marketing audit and 90-day roadmap
Typical engagementFixed fee, four to six weeks
The fastest way to see where your marketing money goes, whether your data can be trusted, and what to fix first. Many clients start here.
- Analytics and tracking audit: GA4, conversion tracking and call tracking
- CRM review: data quality, pipeline stages, automation and sales adoption
- Marketing technology inventory: what you pay for, what’s used and what’s connected
- Paid search and website performance, with cost per lead by channel
- SEO, content and email review against your audience and competitors
- A written 90-day roadmap with priorities, KPIs, budget and owners
CRM administration: Salesforce and HubSpot
Typical engagementMonthly support or a fixed-scope project
A CRM only pays off when the data is clean and sales actually uses it. As a hands-on Salesforce and HubSpot administrator, I set it up, keep it running, and make the reports leadership relies on.
- CRM selection, setup and migration
- Fields, pipelines, lead scoring and lifecycle stages
- Marketing automation, email workflows and form integrations
- Data cleanup, deduplication and import rules
- Dashboards and reports for marketing, sales and leadership
- User training and documentation so adoption sticks
Project leadership
Typical engagementScoped per project
One high-stakes initiative, planned and managed start to finish, with your team trained to own it afterward.
- Marketing technology consolidation and integration
- Analytics and reporting builds that combine your data sources
- Website redesign or platform migration built for lead generation and SEO
- Paid search turnaround to bring cost per lead down
- Launch marketing for a new program, location or market

Your marketing technology, managed
Most teams pay for more tools than they use, and the tools they do use don’t share data. I take ownership of the stack: what you need, how it connects, who maintains it, and what it costs.
- CRM and automation: Salesforce, HubSpot
- Analytics and reporting: Google Analytics 4, Tableau, SQL, Excel
- Advertising and tracking: Google Ads, call tracking platforms
- Website and content: WordPress and other content management systems
Questions people ask
What is a fractional CMO?
A senior marketing executive who works with your organization part-time, on an ongoing basis. You get the strategy, budget discipline and team leadership of a full-time CMO, sized to your stage.
Do you advise, or do you do the work?
Both. I set strategy and manage the program, and I’m hands-on where it matters most: analytics, CRM administration, reporting and paid search.
Which tools do you work with?
Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Tableau, SQL, call tracking platforms and WordPress. If you use something else, I’ll learn it, or help you decide whether you still need it.
Will you work with our existing agency?
Yes. I’ve managed in-house teams, agencies and freelancers side by side. Part of the job is holding each one accountable to the same goals and numbers.
Do you work remotely?
I’m based in Minneapolis and have led marketing remotely for organizations in California, Ohio and Canada. I’m glad to meet in person with Twin Cities clients.
How do we get started?
Send me a note through the contact form. If there’s a fit, I’ll send a short proposal, usually starting with an audit so we’re both working from the same facts.
Tell me where marketing is stuck.
Share your goals and what’s getting in the way. I’ll reply within one business day with what I’d look at first.
